 68030 GALLERY 12th March 2002 |
|
Repainting
of 68030 has now reached the gloss stage followed by transfer
application. These are a few random shots taken at the London
& North Western Railway Company workshops at Crewe under
difficult light conditions. My grateful thanks go to Stephen
Latham and Philip Oldfield for their assistance in allowing these
photographs to record the event. These workshops are industrial
premises and are not open to the public, please do not trespass. |
68030 in all its glory.
The shine on the black paint
makes it almost impossible to photograph in the contrasting sunlight
from the window.

The workshop is somewhat cramped
for photography so a full shot from the right angle is not possible.

The start of the transfers.
Big six wheeler!
I think the frame in the foreground
is "Thornbury Castle".
Light effects.
Beautiful!
